It is attached and sealed via the pool wall and vinyl liner by using gaskets and a fitting nut. ?Easy Installation?The inlet return fitting is simply replaceable. Just took out the old component, slid this one in, and installed the gasket and plug. The leak issue is resolved. The intake fitting contains a 1-1/2" female pipe thread (fpt) and orifice via which water can enter the vessel. ?Usage?The Inlet Fitting SP1023 is designed to last and give a dependable connection. The front contains 1-1/2-inch female threads for use with an eyeball fitting. The back contains 1-1/2-inch female threads for attaching a hose fitting.
