Item description

Vintage original 11x14 in. US title lobby card from the silent film drama, ANY WIFE, released in 1922 by the Fox Film Corporation and directed by Herbert Brenon. Silent film serial queen Pearl White stars as society lady Mrs. John Hill in a drama concerning adultery and suicide. The cast includes Holmes Herbert, Gilbert Emery, Lawrence Johnson, Augustus Balfour, and Eulalie Jensen. The image features a full-length image of Pearl White wearing a gorgeous black beaded gown as she recoils from her husband's business partner, Philip Gray (Holmes Herbert), during one of many dramatic moments from the film. It is unrestored in very fine condition with one pinhole in each top corner and tiny signs of wear on the tips. There is the slightest bit of wear along the edge of the top border at various places and along the edge of the bottom border next to the bottom right corner.
