Antique, circa 1800`s transferware compote bowl vase , French Scenery. This compote vase is in generally good condition for its age. Signed on the bottom. Brown transferware decorated with floral motifs and French genre scenes. Slight discoloration inside due to use and age. Two barely visible chips on the rim of the bowl (photos 7 and 8). The bowl measures 5 1/2" (H) x 10 3/4" (W) x 9 1/2" (D). Visible age-related cracks on the bottom and sides of the bowl (photo 5, 11).
