OLD WOVEN WICKER Italian Wine Bottle JUG DEMIJOHN Jug 0157 These truly OLD Wicker Wrapped Wine Jugs are just getting almost Impossible to find anymore (and more and more Expensive when we DO find them). No wonder........as they've become so collectible most people won't part with them once they have at least ONE. The truly OLD ones like this are NOT going to be in PERFECT condition. There will be breaks to the weave ....and in the case of THIS one, the wicker was SO dried out and had so many breaks that we couldn't salvage the bottom wicker. So we chose to remove it and and shine up the bottle as best we could and salvage what we COULD of the partial top wicker. You can choose to remove further wicker or leave it as it is. The bottles UNDER the wicker are just as collectible with or without the wicker so this one displays bits of both nicely. We take INDIVIDUAL Pictures of EACH wicker jug we carry so the pictures you see BELOW are of the ACTUAL jug you will RECEIVE. The inner bottle has a WICKED Cool raised pontil with "5L" embossed into it. I actually like the ones like this because it makes it a more interesting visual piece. The interior bottle is clear in color and PERFECTLY intact. AND I love the bulbous rounded shape of the bottle on this one. It Displays Beautifully! Nice at 13 1/4" Tall, 7 1/4" Wide 28" AROUND the Belly!. These have become EXTREMELY Popular in the Interior Design Market with designers using them to grace everything from kitchen counter tops and shelves to fireplace mantels.
