As you can see, I can't find too much about this piece, possibly silver, may be brass. It is non magnetic at all, measures 4x3.5x1.75" Has a wood base inside but it's loose and can be taken out easily. Weighs 11 oz so very heavy for the size. Very beautiful decorations but well worn. Would be beautiful restored. If you know a way I can tell what metal it is I'd be interested to hear. Bid as you see fit. I've seen similar in antique German Silver or Japanese but there are no markings that I can see that would show where it was made.
