Item description

The following listing is for a wonderful antique Shaker stool. The stool is in a fabulous original lipstick red paint. The seat is original split ash and even has the signature 'dovetail' construction (see close up pic of underside). The legs, of course, are the typical tapered leg. The stool is in very good condition for the age, with normal expected wear, but as you can see in the photos the split ash top does show some damage. The stool measures approximately 12 1/4" tall and is about 13" square. A wonderful example of Shaker beauty and simplicity in one of the most desirable colors!
