This is a vintage mineral and rock collection in 2 trays held within a book-like sleeve that has a title in gold print on the cover "Mineral Rock Specimens, 96 Pieces." Each piece has a tiny sticker with a number and there is a numbered list inside the cover naming each piece. The first tray is missing 10 pieces and the second is missing 6. The covers are rough in places and faded and it has 2 cloth anchors with bone pins to hold the lid shut. One of those anchors is missing the bone pin. The outer dimensions of the box are 9 3/4"x7"x2". Otherwise the entire set is in good condition.
