He was a French nobleman, statesman, and military commander who served during the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. He was named French Prince after he became Napoleon's stepson. Highly detailed beautifully painted in rich, vibrant colors with gilt details and modeled wearing uniform, he is standing on a square form base with gilt impressed name cornered by Imperial eagles. The base underside features an incised biography with birthplace and dated military battles in French, incised numbers, Scheibe Alsbach mark. Measures approx. 9oe" tall x 2" across base.
