Item description
This an Antique Paper/Document Holder Shaped Like horse Shoe (#1125). It measures 1 inches wide by 2 5/8 inches tall. I am not sure if it is Brass or Cast Iron. Maybe brass because there is a little green tarnishing. I did not try to clean it for fear of damaging it. I believe it is from the early 1900’s. The spring actions is very good and strong, there is no loosening of the hinges. Please see pix for complete description.
