The item is made of a central column section made of porcelain or pottery. The central section looks to be European, possibly German, or Austrian in origin. The base is made of cast metal bronze in the form of what look to be bamboo tree ends. The lamp is antique. The item needs to be re-wired to be a functioning lamp again (see photos). The item is not marked by a maker, but there are some numbers impressed into the base (see photos and determine the maker, the age, and the origin). This lamp base measures in total about 21 inches high, each is about 7+ inches wide at the base. The item is from the Art Nouveau period, and it has an Aesthetic Movement style (see photos). The lamp needs to be re-wired for use. The lamp has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). A nice antique Art Nouveau lamp base to add to your collection.
