The lamp has a central portion that is a vase with a raised and painted decoration of large leaves, branches, and flowers. I have not taken the lamp apart to check for any markings. The lamp looks to have an Asian style. The vase in the lamp looks to be Japanese Satsuma pottery and likely dates to 100+/- years old. I believe the lamp is made from a vase from Japan, and Japanese in origin (see photos and determine the maker, the age, and the origin). The lamp measures in total about 37 inches high to the top of the finial (33 inches high to the top of the harp, 23 inches high to the top of the socket), and it measures about 9 inches wide from side to side at the pottery urn (it is about 8.5 inches wide at the base). The vase has been drilled and converted into a lamp. The lamp has been wired for electricity. (I would recommend re-wiring all antique and vintage lighting before use) use. The lamp has some minimal wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). A nice vintage Asian style art pottery urn vase lamp to add to your collection.
