Item description

This is a 2 piece lot of Mid 19th Century French 950 (Solid) Silver Teapot and Cream Jug. Both pieces feature Engine Turning and an Armorial Crest. Teapot weighs 664 grams and measures approximately 5 inches tall 12 inches from handle to tip of spout and 6 inches in diameter. The Cream Jug weighs 109 grams and measures approximately 3 inches tall, 5 inches from handle to tip of spout and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The teapot has a loose handle and the lid is detached from the pot. There is some minor dents and tarnish. Both pieces are hallmarked with the head of Minerva facing right in an octagonal cartouche with a 1 indicating 950 fine silver and dating these pieces to the mid 19th century. The Teapot has 2 Hallmarks, the Cream Jug has 3 Hallmarks. Makers marks on each piece (see last 2 photos) that I am unable to decipher.Total weight of both pieces is 773 grams or 24.85 Troy Ounces.
