Item description

This is an Antique Blue Prattware Pottery Mustard or Potted Meat Jar featuring Shakespeare Transfers dating to the 1850's. This jar doesn't have a registry mark, however similar examples bear a registry mark dating to 1856. Its in very nice condition, just a bit of crazing as to be expected from a 160+ year old jar!! No chips or damage, missing its lid. On one side it features a transfer that reads "All The World's A Stage" and on the other side it reads "Shakespeare Born April 23, 1564" Measures approximately 4 1/8 inches in height, 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
