Offered here is this nice Antique 1920's Style Beaded Evening Bag. The bag is made of a slightly fabric, heavily adorned with iridescent black and black gloss glass beads that give it a pretty shimmer and are light enough to almost look black and silver, and a silver plate framed clasp at the top, which is beautifully detailed. I am unsure of the actual age of the little bag, but I would guess that it dates to the 1920's. The beading is in good condition, however, there are some strands of beading that are missing, as well as a few strands of fringe. The bag is coming loose from the silverplate clasp on one side at the end of the clasp frame. The bag has no label, and a cotton lining, which is quite faded but otherwise in excellent condition. The little bag is 6.25" top to bottom, not including the clasp at the top, which adds another .5 to the length, and 5" wide at the top, with the chain handle adding another 6" in drop length. It is a gorgeous 1920's Evening Bag. It would make a wonderful addition to any antique purse collection.
