Item description

This is a LARGE Antique Standard Glaze American Art Pottery Jardiniere with handpainted Pansies Circa 1900. Standard Glaze Pottery was made by many companies in the early 1900's including Weller and Owens as well as many others. This Jardiniere measures approximately 8 1/4 inches in height and 9 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest with an 8 inch in diameter opening at the top, the base has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches in case you are looking to "marry" it with a pedestal. There is some crazing commensurate with age and use, some residue on the inside from previous use and small glaze flakes on the bottom rim as shown in photos.
