This antique photo album contains 47 full pages of black and white pictures taken between 1931-1943 by the Polhemus family -- well-to-do people who settled in the Nyack, New York area. The album begins with wedding photos and then goes on to showcase babies born, kids growing up, and family travels to places like the Blue Ridge Parkway and Jamestown, Virginia. Most photos are dated, giving a good representation of fashion for the time. The album is leather, and shows a lot of wear. Most photos measure 2.5" x 3.5", but a few are 3.25" x 4.25".
