Item description

Amston Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl Creamer Set #834 Gold Washed 202g Weighted. These are vintage through and through. Probably mid century (1940-1960) and have a couple of small dings on the bottom consistent with some usage through the years. However not much because the gold wash that typically wears off over time is still there in the inside of each. Pattern # is 834. Combined they both weigh 202 grams although the bottom of each is weighted/reinforced. Still you are not buying these to scrap - they are simply in too good a condition and have much life left in them. As stated, there are a couple of small dings on the bottom but not really noticeable unless you turn them over. No one will do that when there is cream and sugar in them. Based in Meriden, Connecticut, Amston Silver Co. Inc. went out of business in the 1960's, and its patterns were acquired bay Crown Silver Co.
