In his illustrations he conveyed a magical sense of detail and scale in line, conveying at the same time a deep feeling for humanity. R. C. GORMAN: NAVAJO IN VOGUE by Mary Carroll Nelson. Gorman is a Navajo Indian who draws from his childhood associations in an audacious and unorthodox manner.
