A sweet licorice that we flavored with spruce shoots. Spruce, also known as Nordic lemons due to its high content of vitamin C and citrus flavor, is a flavoring that sometimes appears in old recipes. Used in the Middle Ages as a dietary supplement to, among other things, reduce the risk of scurvy, i.e. vitamin C deficiency. We only use it as a natural and good flavoring agent for our licorice. Each bag contains 150 grams of licorice. Almaregarden's spruce licorice is made on Soderslatt in Skane from the very best ingredients and contains no E-numbers. It is free from gelatin and is 100% vegetable and vegan. Syrup, sugar, WHEAT FLOUR, water, invert sugar syrup, RYE FLOUR, licorice, humectant (sorbitol), natural flavoring, spruce bud flavoring, salt, preservative (potassium sorbate), surface treatment (coconut oil, carnauba wax).
