This print is from the extremely limited colorized variant set of Universal Monsters fine art lithographs, the print is signed by hand by Ross and is individually numbered out of only 150 produced. Again, only one hundred and fifty were produced! It measures 18 by 24 inches, features a white border with Ross' hand-signed signature and number designation, is in nm/mint and undisplayed condition, and will be shipped with the utmost care. It includes its original Certificate of Authenticity. This particular print features Lon Chaney, Jr as the Wolf Man in the the 1941 film The Wolf Man. Chaney Jr. was the only actor to portray the same Universal Monster in all his 1940?s film appearances. Referring to the Wolf Man as ?my baby,? Chaney would play, if not always the Wolf Man, at least a Wolf Man in numerous productions right up until his last film, 1971?s Dracula vs. Frankenstein. Ross reimagines the end of the film as the cursed Larry Talbot stalks the eerie moonlit wood just before his own father is forced to bring an end to his son?s reign of terror.
