Your service station attendant at your ARCO gas station would have had one of these patches on the front of his or her jacket or shirt or as arm patches on the sleeve of the jacket or shirt. They were sewn on--there was no iron on back then. These do not appear to have ever been used. It is nearly 4 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches tall. I am offering six for sale. One is perfect. Two have a smudge on a letter or two, one has a break in the blue trim and one has a rust spot on the "O". The background is navy blue and the lettering is white.
