Item description

Vintage original 11x14 in. U.S. lobby card from the silent film serial A LASS OF THE LUMBERLANDS, released in 1916 by the Mutual Film Corporation and co-directed by Paul Hurst and J.P. McGowan. Silent film serial queen Helen Holmes stars in this 15-chapter action/adventure serial that was filmed in Humbolt County, California. This card is from Chapter 10 which was entitled The Gold Rush and depicts a great interior medium shot inside of a train station as 8 men from Deering's gang hold-up the ticket agent as they all point their guns at the man. tense. The caption at the bottom reads: "Deering's gang hod up the agent." It is in very fine- condition with only one pinhole in each corner and one in the center of the top and bottom borders and just a few small areas of discoloration in the borders.
