Item description

- You will get 70 Seeds of Red Russell Lupine Flower Seeds. - Sunlight: Full Sun. - Life Cycle: Annual. - Watering: Medium. - Red Russell Lupine Seeds. - In most lupine mixes the red shades are eventually overtaken by blue colors. Now you can add as much red as you'd like. - My Castle. Sometimes called Red Castle or simply Red Russell, this beautiful all red strain of the popular perennial Lupine is a lovely and unique addition to your garden! The genetics of lupines are such that, as a patch crosses and self-sows, over time the blues will become dominant. Now you can revitalize your mass planting with a new burst of red. Or, grown separately where they will not cross, you can maintain a solely red patch of these dense spikes with large flowers. - To soften the hard coating on these seeds, rub them lightly with sandpaper or soak them in 180 degrees F water overnight before sowing. Sow them in early spring, planting 1/2? deep. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination.
