Hood has been used. Rubber looks gray from age. And rubber has separated from the metal ring, but it can be glued back. But It is not damaged in any way. This lens hood is fully operational and functions as intended. Threads are not bent. I would rate it an 8, on a scale from 1 to 10. Hood is single threaded. Front thread size is 77mm, and rear is 69mm. Please make sure that you have correct size lens for it. It is too large for 67mm and too small for 72mm.
