New Zealand Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss is the finest kind of Long Fibered Moss. It can hold up to 20 times its weight in water. I have personally tested it and found that it held just over 20 times its weight in water. It is great to use for Orchids and Carnivorous Plants or for Reptiles and Amphibians in terrariums. Net pots allow better aeration than other kinds of pots do but need to be used with soil that consists of large pieces, like long fibered sphagnum moss.
