Vintage 40s Velvet Turban Hat from The Vogue Shop St Cloud MN Great colors. Nice bead and rhinestone accents. The rhinestones remind me of caskets - one is missing its stone. Inside the hat is mesh through which stitches pull the material into gathers. Quite a small hat, I was surprised I was able to get it on! Following the brim inside I find 21" around, measuring my head where I pulled the hat down to I find 22" so it was quite tight! Good condition with some wear to rhinestones. As far as the construction, if you pull apart the material at the top you can see some of the stitches, and there is one visible stitch on top of the hat.
