Item description

Rubus fructosus "Triple Crown" is a semi-erect, self-fruitful, thornless shrub with cluster of pinkish-white, rose-like flowers which give way to a heavy crops of large, grossy black, juicy blackberries over a harvest season lasting 30 days in mid summer. The berries are firm and exellent for fresh eating, jams, jellies and pies. Triple Crown blackberry is named for its three attributes; flavor, productivity and vigor. It's also disease resistant and grows huge berries. Grow in zones 5-9, though they have insufficient cold hardiness for many northern regions except in tunnels. They like slightly acidic, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Grows up to 3-5 ft. tall and wide.
