Nigra Hollyhock is shockingly beautiful with its chocolate-red, nearly black blooms. Nigra Hollyhock creates an impressive impact in front of light-colored walls and fences. A true classic, Nigra Hollyhock was planted in the gardens at Monticello by Thomas Jefferson. Nigra Hollyhock grows up to 6 feet tall and features near-black blooms with just a hint of red. Nigra Hollyhock flowers mid to late summer and is gorgeous planted out by the old white outhouse or in the back of the flowerbed.
