Item description

Note: All parts of the plant (while historically used for sedative and hypnotic/hallucinogenic properties) are TOXIC. Use at your own risk!! Glossy black berries, one berry per flower. Extracts of this plant have been used traditionally in various ways, such as Witches Flying Ointment, etc. In ancient Venetia, women put extracts of this into their eyes to dilate their pupils, giving them a more hypnotic gaze. While having a fairly sinister past with its powerful sedative and poisonous properties, the shiny black berries are a source of atropine, used in the treatment of eye disease and muscle spasms. Belladonna has a rich and varied history and folklore. Germination Instructions: Belladonna germinates sporadically, usually between 10-30 days. Plant seeds in warm soil (between 70 and 80 degrees). Barely cover and keep moist but not soggy. Poisonous - do not take internally
