Item description

Was I ever excited when I found this beauty! I only wish I had my own beach or nautical painting to put in it. Or fit in a mirror for your perfect beach house accessory. Such a rare and unusual motif on an authentic 19th century gilt frame. Outside measurements are approximately 30" x 22 1/2". The rabbet is 24 7/8" x 17". I know! There were no standard sizes back then. But you can take it to a Michaels or your local framer and have a 1" gold liner put in to fit a 24" x 16" painting. The photos show every little flaw as if glaring, but the frame shows extremely well and is in what I consider very good condition for its age. Most of my customers remark that the items I sell look far better in person once they arrive. FREE SHIPPING! Please note: The frames I sell are true antiques or vintage items in as-found estate condition. Nicks, repairs, oxidation, etc. are common and should be expected. Please examine photos carefully.
