The plastic yellow version is more of a Canary Yellow, while the Painted Yellow Version is more like Mustard Yellow. Very, very clear difference. All other details appear to be identical. Chassis are stamped TYCO Made in Malaysia. It can be made to run Slotted by simply inserting a guide pin in a small notch dead center of the chassis. With the guide pin (which I can include free if requested) it will run on just about any HO scale slot car track from Aurora, TOMY, TYCO, Marchon, Atlas etc?.
