Probable Test Shot Unfinished Tampo Version or Formosa factory promotional item. You are buying ONE (1) vintage 1991 TYCO Toys Ferrari F-40 BODY FREE ROLLING CHASSIS. Variation is no Flag, NO Ferrari on the Hood NO TYCO on the rear wing no TCR on rear license plate. Probably a test run that never got the final spray coat. It is not listed in the TYCO GUIDE by Danny Esposito, without the TYCO on rear wing. Most any TYCO/Mattel WIDE CHASSIS such as the HP, Curvehugger, 440 Magnum, 440-X2 HPX2 will fit underneath.
FOOTNOTE: Item may have been given away as a promotional toy at races, possibly for the Formosa manufacturing company. I believe the body was mated with the chassis at the factory. The parts on the chassis are all typical 1990 TYCO Wide Pan 440.
