1976 Bicentennial Stamp Document. Limited edition document produced in 1976 for the 200th anniversary of the USA Bicentennial. Document contains 50 state flag stamps which were stamped/cancelled in September through November of 1976 in each US state capital under authority of the United States Postmaster. Originally made in a limited edition of 5,000, some pieces thought to have been seized by customs or destroyed by fire, unclear how many survived, this is #902. Attractive decor piece, also useful for someone memorizing the state capitals. Measures about 33" by 41" framed. Oversized parcel, shipping quotes are based on dimensions and weight.
