1969 Vintage Hillbilly Cartoon Art, QSL Card W8CXW Postcard postmarked Jan 27, 1969 a QSL Card from Chas (CHarlie) Paullin, W8CXW Amateur Radio Operator in Trenton, Ohio a member of the QCWA (Quarter Century Wireless Association). Handwritten message with the normal Amateur Radio Operator's exchange of information... and a note that the sender "retired" there in Trenton, OH. From the looks of the inconstancy's in the ink, and the evenness of the lines, it appears it might have been written with a felt tip pen. CONDITION: Standard postcard size and standard lightweight postcard stock, printed by the American Printing Co., Lexington, NC. Front is slightly glossy, no pin holes, stains or smudges. Edges shows slight wear and bottom right corner has a very slight crease. The red QCWA (Quarter Century Wireless Association) stamp is actually a sticker pasted onto the card, (not part of the printing) and is in very good condition. On the address side of the card, the postmark is clear and readable even though it is over the hand stamped date, the 5 cent postage stamp is in good condition. It appears that the zip code (in red) at the bottom of the card might have been added by the post office. ********** Hello there, thank you for stopping by to look at my items!.
