1968 Vintage photo postcard QSL Card UW9KDH URALS Railway Institute USSR Another of our favorites, this historically significant photo QSL card is of a heavyweight "Paper" sent from Moscow, features a small photo or drawing, can't really tell which, on the front of the card of the "Amateur Radio Stations of URALS RAILWAY INSTITUTE, hand signed and dated by "Val Sverdlovsk Nov 27 1968. According to the date stamp on the back it took until April of 1969 to reach the US and its destination, in San Diego,CA before being forwarded to Rosemead, CA. The back of the card is blank, (no postage or postmark) and stamped SAN DIEGO DX CLUB April 1969. CONDITION: Overall condition is fair, no pinholes, minimal wear on corners and edges. slight discoloration, more prominent at edges. Not card-stock, closer to a heavier stock paper, no coating, gloss or sheen. Photo is clear an not obscured by printing or smudges, and is interestingly details can be seen when enlarged or examined under a strong magnifying glass. Please see photo for condition and details.
