Item description

A Gibson ES-175D is the iconic jazz guitar. This one dates from1953 or 54. I've checked the serial number, A17352, with three specialists in vintage guitars, one said 1954 the other two said 1953. so you can do your own research. the finish is what we used to call a tobacco sunburst, is in nice condition, has new flat wound strings is set up to play. Pots are a little bit scratchy, 1st 4 frets are worn but not buzzing (see pics) Body neck have minor scuffs scratch's appropriate to it's age As far as I can tell everything is original except maybe the case (see pics) I thought about changing the pots but decided to leave it original The tuners are a bit stiff, but don't slip I had a good guitar player test it he thought it played really well It's been professionally packed in a proper guitar box with expanding foam packets will be shipped with insurance
