The perfect 1950s party dress! Crafted from sumptuous red velvet, this elegant dress boasts a boat neckline and long sleeves, with delicate slits adorning the cuffs. Its A-line silhouette cinches at the waist for a flattering fit, while a scoop neckline and original metal zipper graces the back. The thick velvet fabric is complemented by a red acetate lining in the bodice and tulle fabric that helps fill the skirt. This medium-weight garment exudes luxury and style. It is in generally excellent condition for its age, however the sleeves will need a few stitches put in them as the open cuff stitches have split a bit. Also there is minor wear to the velvet under the arms and elbows. Totally unnoticeable once it is being worn. The zipper works well. There is a union tag, indicating it to be an authentic 1950s item. It is labelled size 11 but fits more like a modern 6/8. All measurements made while lying flat. Pit to pit 16". There is room for up to a C cup given the way this is tailored (see pics).
