Item description

This is an ANTIQUE, VINTAGE "Horse Show and Music Ride Program" for an event given by "The Saddle Horse Association Of Philadelphia" on Monday, March 26, 1934. I'm helping clean out my neighbors home and this Program Pamphlet was found inside a box marked 1930-1940 which was FULL of Paper Ephemera from the 1930s. With some fading and corner wear, this is a small pencil notation on the inside left border. The Condition, given its age, is EXCELLENT with NO rips, tears, marks, stains, odors or other damage; it comes from a smoke-free, pet free home. PLEASE view pictures CLOSELY to see Condition. Held at 8:00 p.m. at the 103rd Cavalry Armory at 32nd Street and Lancaster Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Steward was Mr. A.L. Fitzpatrick, and the Judges were Mr. Frank J. Connor and Mr Walter G. Sibley. The inside left lists the Officers, Executive Committee, Veterinarian, Ringmaster and Contest Committee members. The inside right lists the Program: Grand Parade and Drill, Child Ride, Children's Jumping Class, Lady Rider, Musical Chair Ride, Five-Gaited Saddle Horse, Jumping Horse, Pair Class, Gentleman Rider, and Sweepstakes information.
