This is a really neat piece of railroad history! Is a booklet of tickets for the Peoples Railway - I believe in the Dayton Ohio area. Has unused tickets for multiple trips - looks like at least 10 sheets of 4, all issued with the same number. Would make for a cool addition to a Dayton history, or railway collection. Booklet measures approx 2 1/8 x 4 1/2" This was issued to Mrs. G. C. Towle in March of 1915. George Towle was a notable figure with ties to Dayton, Ohio, though his direct connection to the Peoples' Railway isn't explicitly documented. The Peoples' Railway was a mass transit line in Dayton that operated between 1896 and 1945. It was formed by merging several Dayton rail lines between 1893 and 1896. In 1945, it was purchased by City Railway, which later transitioned to bus travel ------- I take pride in my pictures, and are a valuable extension of my description.
