Volume II contains chapters on Khokand, Bukhara, Issyk Kul (present-day Kyrgyzstan) and Semiretch (present-day Semirech'e, Kazakhstan), and Kuldja ( present-day China). Including a summary of early Chinese and medieval European travelers to Central Asia and the accounts of their voyages.
