Italian Credit Centenary Medal 1870-1970. Engraver: Enrico Manfrini. On one side of the coin is the figure of a Renaissance banker sitting at a table, weighing a bag with a scale and reporting the data on the register. Bottom: E. Manfrini. On the other side we see instead an operative bee between the dates 1870 and 1970. Bottom: Senesi logo. This is a medal minted, made in 1970, with a matte bottom, by the Senesi Plant in Milan, to celebrate the centenary of Credito Italiano. It originates from the Bank of Genoa, founded in 1870; in 1895 it took the name of Credito Italiano on the occasion of a capital increase. It becomes one of the largest banks in Italy. In 1998 a complex merger operation between the Credito Italiano Group and the Unicredit Group, constitutes UNICREDIT. Material: Bronze Diameter: cm 7 Weight: g 221 Condition: Great.
