B.T.O Better Than Original: THIS LISTING IS FOR TWELVE (12) Newly made T-Jet Axles SHORT: This axle is a replacement for the original Aurora T-Jet short axle. However, unlike original Aurora axles these have no splines. The splines were eliminated since they are necessarily larger than the axle hole in the chassis and therefore could deform the hole as they are inserted, especially when done multiple times. Splined areas on axles can also vary greatly in aggressivness (diameter) as it is impossible to maintain the tight tolerances needed. By increasing the diameter of the axle to .0630" and eliminating the splines, the axle is still smaller than the chassis axle hole yet large enough to hold onto gears and rims.
