(Internal #CS3-24) Excellent, new, hand stained natural pine resin, hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo is OFF WHITE color with GREEN accent color, organic pine resin is mounted on a piece of repro 1940's style brass with scrolled design; cameo itself is 1-1/2" long x 1-1/4" wide. Clasp pin/pendant glued horizontally on back. BRASS IS A GOLD COLOR. Unusual theme of the butterfly is done in "intaglio style" (i.e. original was carved INTO the shell rather than "glyptic" where the subject projects forward from the background). Excellent detail within the butterfly's wings and well defined edges, unusual for a small cameo. I know because I do half the work in creating the cameos. Comes with information card.
