"The Master Sniper" by Stephen Hunter, 1st edition, 1st printing. Fine in fine dust jacket. This copy is a first edition first printing and an agent?s file copy. Card pocket on left front fixed endpaper, agent address affixed to lower part of the front free endpaper. The book appears never to have been read. Laid into the book is a card to another agency from the receiving agency touting Morrow Company?s (the publisher) enthusiasm about the book. Also laid into book us a copy of a page from Publisher?s Weekly from 1/11/1980 with a synopsis of the book?s plot and states a printing of 25,000 copies in the first print run. The book is in fine condition but for the card pocket and agent label and top corners bumped slightly (see photos). The dust jacket is fine but for a crease on the front endpaper flap (appears to be a publisher?s crease). There is a small 3/4 inch closed tear skillfully mended bu a conservator and two small closed tears on the top edge of the rear jacket panel, both mended professionally. A solid square sitting copy. Enclosed in a removable Mylar jacket protector. Uncommon to find a copy in first edition in this condition.
