Item description

Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s sci-fi action/adventure film, STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER, released in 1989 by Paramount Pictures and directed by William Shatner, in which Captain Kirk and his crew must deal with Mr. Spock's long-lost half-brother who hijacks the Enterprise for an obsessive search for God at the center of the galaxy. The image depicts two different scenes from the film. It was used for publication in a newspaper and features grease pencil marks on the recto and affixed to the verso are portions of the actual newspaper clippings of this photo. It is in very fine- condition as shown. Provenance: The Hearst Los Angeles Herald Examiner newspaper archive.
