Item description

Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1940's comedy/drama, THE LADY IS WILLING, released in 1942 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Mitchell Leisen. The image depicts an interior shot inside the elegant home of actress Elizabeth "Liza" Madden (Marlene Dietrich) as she reviews various documents with Victor (Roger Clark) while her newly-adopted baby sits in a chair in front of a fireplace. It is in fine condition with remnants of yellowed Scotch tape on the corners. In order to adopt an abandoned baby, an actress arranges a marriage of convenience with a doctor.
