Vintage original Revised script from the 1970's crime drama/mystery television series, KATE McSHANE, starring Anne Meara in the title role. It is from the series' pilot episode, entitled Kate McShane (Season 1, Episode 1), in which Irish-American lawyer Kate McShane gets her father (Sean McClory), who is a retired cop, and her brother, Ed (Charles Haid), who is a Jesuit priest and a law professor, to help her solve the case of a rich woman accused of murdering her husband. Created and written by E. Jack Neuman, this Revised script (as indicated on the front cover) was dated January 24, 1975 (and the episode initially aired on April 11, 1975). It consists of 88 pages on white stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between a medium green cardstock front and back cover. This script is complete in overall very fine condition. There is a very small stain on the right edge of the last 3 pages; a light vertical crease on the front cover immediately to the right of the brads; and two scuffs on the back cover in the left side. Kate McShane is an American legal drama television series that aired from September 10 until November 12, 1975 and was the first series to feature a female lawyer in the lead role.
