Item description

Vintage original 10.25 x 13 in. US double-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930s adventure/war comedy, GUNGA DIN, released in 1939 by RKO Radio Pictures and directed by George Stevens. Based upon the poem by Rudyard Kipling, in 19th century India, three British soldiers and a native water-bearer must stop a secret mass revival of the murderous Thuggee cult before it can rampage across the land. The cast includes Cary Grant, Joan Fontaine, Victor McLaglen, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., and Sam Jaffe. The image features an exterior scene that includes a glass painting of the background that blends seamlessly with the live action. It is in fine+ condition as shown.
