(internal #G500-107). American Alligator (Alligator Mississippiensis).
This is a small, GENUINE TAXIDERMY GATOR SCUTE with the no skin. This scute measures average 1-3/8 to 1-3/4" long. This is an exclusive product, only sold by us.
Scutes have been bleached; some are white, yellow, brown, some gnarly, some with a slightly raised ridge, some with a pronounced ridge, some with lots of texture, some quite smooth (depending on where it was located on the gator's back); some with the skin on. Easy to make into jewelry, or just to enjoy as an unusual collectible. 100% of the gators harvested by government permit in Florida are used in some way.
Legally caught gator from Florida.
AWESOME collectible WOW display item! No flaws. Wild gators have been harvested for 200 years, either live from government regulated hunts during the month of September in Louisiana, specific permits issued for rogue gators, or from legal egg collection by Alligator Farms from which gators are raised and a percentage released back to the wild. 100% of the gator is used in some way (meat goes to restaurants, skin has various uses from leather goods etc., heads feet sold as collectibles, you-name-it, it's used).
