Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1970's drama, FIVE EASY PIECES, released in 1970 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Bob Rafelson. Jack Nicholson stars as a dropout from upper-class America who picks-up work along the way on oil rigs when his life isn't spent in a squalid succession of bars, motels, and other points of interest. This original one-sheet poster is from the film's 1973 US theatrical re-release by Columbia Pictures and the poster touts that "The Triple Award Winner is Back!," as the film received 3 Academy Awards for "Best Picture," "Best Director" and "Best Supporting Actress" (Karen Black). The design features an image of the film's original 1970-release one-sheet that dominates the image. This poster was inscribed in black Sharpie by Academy Award-winner Karen Black ("Matt - Best to you - Karen Black") near the lower right corner. Folded as originally issued with one additional fold, this vintage original one-sheet poster is unrestored and in fine- condition with two small areas of separation on the crossfolds and some random small creases. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
